Drug sale suspects charged in Dallas area sting
DPS narcotics agents say they bought 10 ounces of pure cocaine from two men at 6 p.m. Thursday in Richardson Heights Shopping Center. Arrested were Howard Windsor Greene, 25, of Dallas, and William Patrick Payne, 22, of Plano. Charges filed early Friday. Cocaine valued at 50,000 dollars from a 1,500 dollar per ounce sale. Greene has a Denton County probated sentence and Payne previously served federal time for drug smuggling.

Armed robbery reported at Richardson home
Police investigated an armed robbery at a private residence on Cypress Street early Friday. A masked man entered through a bedroom window, demanded money, and stole $37 from the Cobb family.
