Norris rites scheduled for 16 year old Dallas youth
Funeral services for William Earl Norris III age 16 of 14665 Midway Road will be held Wednesday at 100 oclock at Restland Memorial Chapel with entombment in Restland Chapel Garden Mausoleum. Norris died Sunday when his motorcycle crashed into a guard rail on LBJ Freeway and North Central Expressway. He was a Dallas resident and Richardson High School sophomore, an honor student and Interact Club member. He attended Spring Valley United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, a sister Marilyn, a brother Rusty and grandparents W Earl Norris, H G Martin and their spouses.

Gov Preston Smith appoints Ernest A. Emerson of Dallas to the Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education for a six year term ending June 11 1977.
