Richardson Toastmasters Evening Club held its annual Christmas meeting at the Dallas Continental Inn last Wednesday. Al Markwardt received an Able Toastmaster certificate for completing a special training course, among 611 members given the award. Bob Schaefer led the program with The Holiday Season theme. Dave Beachum won best speaker and Buell Martin plus Max Schriener tied for most improved. Dave Dykstra gave a formal speech. wives attended as guests.

German Shepherd Attack Seeks Missing Dog
A large male German Shepherd that bit 13 year old Karl Krumbholz at 2023 Cap Rock Drive remains unfound. Mrs. Krumbholz says neighbors cooperate as the tan dog with dark markings eludes capture. The incident prompted the boy to begin rabies shots, with a 14 dose series ending January 3.
