Richardson school zone fines to rise to 52.50 after Jan 16
City Manager Bob Hughey will urge the council to raise speeding fines in RISD school zones from 28 to 52.50 and retain 2 dollars per extra mile over 20. The plan includes noon hour 11 am to 12:30 pm zones and no noon crossing guards yet.

Driver in hit and run turns himself in
Thomas Lee Hunt a 23 year old Dallas construction worker went to Richardson Police with his lawyer and admitted being the unidentified driver in a Wednesday night hit and run. He was charged with failing to leave identification at the scene, bond set at 103 dollars, and released after his attorney posted.
