Memorial service for Chris Streit set at St. Luke's Lutheran
Christopher Barton Streit 19 died Monday at Baylor Medical Center from injuries received on December 15 while training for a trampoline contest at North Texas State University. He was a North Texas State PE and history major born in Dallas January 16 1951 and raised in Richardson. He led PASFT chapters raising funds for Peru road project and captained St Luke's boys basketball to state finals. The family asks donations to a charity of choice in lieu of flowers.

Accidents Investigation After Wet Street Injuries In Richardson
Two Richardson residents were hurt in separate collisions on wet roads Monday. Janie Sue Owens fifteen was listed in fair condition at Presbyterian Hospital after being struck while crossing Custer Road north of Arapaho Road. Winfred L Spratt was treated and released at Richardson General Hospital following a Plano Road North Park incident. Jack Sides faced charges of negligent collision and overtaking without sufficient clearance related to the Plano Road crash. Patrolman Charles Kelly investigated.
