County Commissioners approve moving 718000 from the North Coit project to Spring Valley Road as traffic on the Spring Valley leg exceeds Coit to North Central Expressway. Both roads to be widened to six lanes. North Coit may be delayed about a year.

Mrs. Pat Powers of the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration toured the Richardson water plant as part of a Council of Governments program evaluating the on the job training for wastewater plant operators. Four Richardson workers join a 40 member class with 27 weeks of hands on training and optional 14 week extension.
