Police report details three weekend accidents in Richardson injuring five people. A 1961 sedan driven by John P Taylor collided with a 1955 sedan driven by Ronald Dow in fog at Belt Line and Plano. Taylor was charged with negligent collision. A 1966 Currens car rear ended a Metters car on Belt Line. Currens faced a negligent collision charge. Richardson Fire Department logged 54 fire calls and 43 ambulance runs in November with 119 total runs for the month and 1,358 for the year. Inspections totaled 299 across categories. two county fire calls and one mutual aid call occurred. causes ranged from careless smoking to rubbish fires. property loss for November was 48,500, leading to 3,147,740 yearly. Training hours reached 582 for November and 7,849 for the year.

City Approves Duplex Zoning For Canyon Creek Location
Richardson City Council approved Zoning File No 6620 to reclassify Canyon Creek Land Corporation area from R-1100 to D-2400 M to allow duplex housing.
