Judge Tries 42 Cases In Corporation Court
Judge R L Stanfield’s Corporation Court heard 42 cases this Wednesday night down from 76 last week. Violations included eight speeding and eight minor traffic cases, five with no driver’s licenses, seven negligent collisions with three dismissed, one $15 fine, and three $25 fines. One dog ordinance violator fined $10, bond forfeited for another. City Ordinance 239 A produced nine violations with eight fines of $2 and one $15. Two drunk aggravated cases: one $50 fine, the other bond forfeited, plus a drunk disorderly violator fined or bonded. Failure to appear doubles fines if guilty.
Open House Today at Richardson Rec Center
Residents are invited to the open house at Richardson's Recreation Center located at 711 Arapaho Road from 2 to 4 pm. City dignitaries and staff including Jim Edwards director, Danny Smother man center director, Ralph Atkinson recreation superintendent, Dawne Ashburn program supervisor, Sonny Haynes, and Bonnie Aten will greet visitors as residents tour the new facilities and programs.
