Texas Instruments plans a multi million dollar plant in Attleboro Massachusetts adding about 185000 square feet for light manufacturing research and development and offices for the Materials division and the Control Products group. Construction awarded last week with occupancy expected in late 1967 and Westcott Construction as general contractor.

Last Rites Held Thursday For Lynn Darrel Jordan
Funeral services were held for Lynn Darrel Jordan 25 at Lovers Lane Methodist Church Dallas. He died in a Fort Worth hospital after injuries from a Weatherford highway auto crash. Richardson Police Investigate Three Major Accidents Thefts
Richardson police investigated three major incidents over two days. A 23 year old Garland woman, Fay Mackery, was treated after a collision at Plano and Buckingham Roads, and faces negligent collision charges. A second crash near North Central Expressway and Campbell Road left two McKinney women injured. A Plano resident’s 1962 sedan rolled on Greenville Avenue after hitting a speed sign. A stolen four speed transmission valued at 109 dollars was reported, along with cedar shingle thefts worth 190 dollars and cigarette thefts from Skillerns. Two teens were arrested for minors in possession of alcohol.

Needy Children to Receive Shoes at Salvation Army Store
More than 1 000 pairs of shoes will be distributed Saturday from 9 30 am to 3 30 pm at the Salvation Army Christmas Shoe Store in the Varied Industries Building at the State Fair Grounds Dallas. Visiting teachers assist with fittings as groups from schools and orphanages attend along with parents. An opening ceremony at 9 15 am will feature carols and a manger scene.
