The ninth annual Toys for Tots drive, sponsored by the US Marine Corps under Major IL Carver, operates through Richardson Elementary schools with support from Supt J J Pearce, principals, teachers, PTAs, and the City Council. The American Red Cross calls for more staff for domestic and overseas duty to assist military families. Ralph M.
