Richardson 15 Car Pileup Prompted Warning To Motorists
After a 15 car crash on Central Way Friday night Chief J W Golden of the Richardson Police Department urged extreme caution during the holiday season. No serious injuries were reported though one Plano woman, Betty Williams, was treated and released. Police and ambulances responded, and traffic was rerouted as crews cleared the scene north of the Spring Valley overpass.

Three dead in two car crash on R L Thornton Freeway
A Richardson woman Odessa Pounds Wilson 319 Brookwood Drive was killed in a two car wreck on the R L Thornton Freeway at 4 a m. Pauline Bell 1305 Ave N Plano also died. A white male victim and two other occupants were hospitalized in serious condition at Parkland. The other driver is jailed in Dallas on intoxication charges.
