Richardson RISD funds youth programs and PDAP
The Richardson Independent School District Board approved $36,000 for Neighborhood Youth Services and Palmer Drug Abuse Program with $18,000 each, extending NYS for community support after city funding expired. City council delays coin game room permit decision
The Richardson city council postponed Homart-Spring Valley Association's request for a special permit to run a coin operated game room in Rich ardson Square Mall space 337 until the December 12 meeting after staff briefing and travel issues prevented the planned spokesman from appearing. The panel then approved zoning changes for Reata Investment and Spring Valley Business Park on nearby parcels, with public record notes including a Plano ISD letter opposing one proposal.
