Auto crashes injure four in Richardson traffic incidents
Richardson police logged three major crashes between Monday and Tuesday, injuring four people. Deborah Darden, 14, sustained minor injuries when struck by a car at Arapaho and Crestview. Farris Maione, 33, injured in a rain related spin at Central Expressway and Exit 22. Jon Scharber, 19, seriously hurt in a two car collision at Waterview and Dumont, while Vera Benson, 37, had minor injuries in the same wreck. Additional incidents included an accidental shooting, shoplifting and a car break in with $45 missing.

Dave Loughridge director of the Richardson Parks and Recreation Center spoke at the Senior Citizens Club urging members to mentor youth through hobbies and local church and civic activities. County Youth Council Assists With Teen Jury
Dallas area teens may face a teen or adult court for traffic violations as the Dallas County Youth Council operates Corporation Court No. 5. The court, which began July 1 1965 with Judge Carl W Briedland er presiding, convenes Thursday nights to hear cases with three juries of six members each and a supervising judge who can approve or veto verdicts. Teens may be assigned themes park work traffic school or a meaningful project as punishment.
