Water Conservations Urged by City Manager
City Manager R B Sherrill urged Richardson residents to conserve water and use it cautiously. He said no one should cut needs but avoid washing water into storm sewers as demand soars during the heat wave. Richardson City Council hearings set for September 23 at 7 30 p m to discuss apartment zoning updates and a new office building zone. The City Plan Commission backs a general office zone and the chamber seeks to build a 300 block East Main Street office across from City Hall. The council also denies Great West Construction duplex rezoning west of Custer Field and Arapaho Road.
