More than 300 new teachers in the Richardson School District will attend tomorrow's New Teacher Luncheon, sponsored by the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. The event at Richardson High School Cafeteria includes a screening of Remarkable Richardson, with Dr. J J Pearce and Mayor John J Gordon delivering welcomes and remarks from RISD leaders.

John M. Whalen vice-president of Collins Radio Dallas Region is named to the board of directors of Richardson Heights National Bank. He has a long background in accounting and industrial management from the University of Iowa and industrial engineering studies. He served in World War II, joined Collins in 1946, and rose to vice president of the Dallas Region in 1965.
