The 41st Richardson Community Fair and Exposition opens tonight at Greenville Avenue Fairgrounds. Large crowds are expected for rides, food booths, exhibits and nightly shows headlined by The Five Americans. The fair introduces a green and yellow big top for commercial displays and moves exhibitors from the Greenville Avenue Gymnasium.

Two Men and Woman Injured in North Central Crash
Bobby E. Edge of Farmersville faces aggravated assault with a motor vehicle charges after a one car crash on North Central Expressway at Renner Road. Edge 25 and two passengers Franklin Euland 26 and Mary Wooldridge 25 were hospitalized with serious injuries including multiple bone breaks and deep flesh wounds. Damages totaled about 2300 to the car and 100 to guard posts and rail. Edge also charged with failing to keep vehicle under control.
