Rainy Going Western Parade Opens Community Fair Week
Rain soaked Richardson parade drew hundreds despite clouds and showers. The Richardson Jaycee-Ette float won first with a giant papier mache cow boy boot, followed by ESA in second and Richardson 4-H Club in third. Grand Marshal Mayor Herb Ryan led a long procession with dignitaries and school bands along Arapaho Road to Richardson Shopping Center.

The library will show No Time For Ugliness, winner of a Blue Ribbon Award at the American Film Festival, to teen groups tomorrow night at 7 30 at the Recreation Center.
