Host Lions set Tuesday meet with SSA speaker
Homer Oliver of the Social Security Administration will be guest speaker at the Richardson Host Lions Club Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Continental Inn. An Amarillo native, Oliver began SSA work in Baltimore and has long been attached to the Dallas office since 1941. He is a World War II veteran, a member of South Oak Cliff Lions, and now program chairman.

Savings Bond sales reach 57 percent of goal
In Dallas County the first six months of 1968 saw 14,198,023 dollars in U. S. Savings Bond sales. June county sales were 1,878,761 dollars and 57 percent of the annual goal was reached. Texas year to date E and H Bond sales rose to 90,967,734 dollars, an eight percent rise from June 1967. Nationwide, E and H Bonds outstanding hit 51,572 million dollars, up 342 million in six months. June sales of E and H Bonds and Freedom Shares totaled 381 million.

Wheelchair Camp Pairs 11 Teens as Attendants for MD Patients
Eleven RHS teen volunteers join 75 muscular dystrophy patients and 70 other aides at a Texas camp sponsored by the Muscular Dystrophy Associations of America.
