Collins Awarded $1.1 Million Army Tech Contract
The U S Army Electronics Command Fort Monmouth New Jersey awarded Collins Radio Company a 1.1 million dollar contract to provide advisory and technical services during fiscal year 1969. Wrong place wrong time trio nabbed after armed robbery try
Three Hamilton Park teens age 16 were arrested near Spring Valley Road after Det. Robert Taylor spotted them fleeing a scene at a drive in grocery. The suspects were found with stolen car plates and cash, cigarettes, and sandwiches with authorities holding them for questioning and possible juvenile detention.

Commissioners to accept resignation from Dr. Rose
Dr Earl Rose, the county medical examiner, will resign and commissioners plan an acceptance ceremony Monday in which his departure will be acknowledged with regret. He has argued the county relies on an old-fashioned coroner system and no replacement has been named. The county and city have approved a $1 million Forensic Sciences Institute plan aimed at modernizing the examiners’ work.
