Leaders named for United Way campaign in Richardson
General Campaign Chair Jack Miller announced Jerry Brantley and Lindley Elliott as co chairmen for the 1976 Richardson United Way drive. Brantley, manager of Southwestern Bell in Preston Forest Square, and Elliott of Texas Power & Light in Richardson, will recruit volunteers and coordinate solicitations as the campaign begins next month. Last year Brantley helped exceed the Richardson goal by raising over $41,000, about 102.2 percent of the goal, supporting 63 local human care agencies including the Richardson Development Center, YMCA, YWCA, and Scout troops. Both leaders and their families are active in local churches and community groups.
