In Lynn Massachusetts on September 15 Miss Harriet C Sheron 82 and Miss Matilda Sheldon 86 longtime local school operators were fatally burned when an oil stove tipped over spilling burning oil on their clothes. Harriet tried to help and also caught fire. Matilda fled to an easy chair where she died before aid arrived.
