The Boyden Hull Community School District rewired attendance centers during the second six weeks. Seven rural schools closed while Lincoln No. 5 No. 6 Sheridan No. 3 No. 4 remain open with one grade per rural school. A 6th grade room was created in the high school and space secured for kindergarten. grades K 1 and 6 from Sheridan No. 6 joined Boyden. Hull Election Day Fire Siren Schedule Explained

The Hull town council will sound the fire siren hourly from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on election day as polls open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Two blasts signal rural fires while numerous blasts indicate a Hull town fire. The siren also marks 7:00 a.m., 12 noon, and 6:00 p.m., with Sundays at 6:00 p.m.. continuous sounding signals line faults.

Vander Haar Rolls 300 in Midway Classic

Dwight Vander Haar of Howard Lake bowled a perfect 300 and 1700 series in the Midway Classic League in St Paul Minnesota on Friday night. It was Minnesota’s second 300 this season and the first ABC sanctioned 300 for him earning about $1000 in cash and merchandise plus a diamond ring trophy and $500 bond among top prizes.
