The regular PTA meeting is set for Wednesday evening October 13 at the schoolhouse. Teachers will present a high quality program during open house night and all parents are urged to attend and participate. Officers for the coming year will be elected. The gathering aims to boost local schools and become the big meeting of the year.

Sunny Side School Dedication Evening In Sheridan Township
The Sunny Side School dedication was held Wednesday evening two miles west of town. The event filled the house with Sheridan Township board members in attendance. Body of Hospers man found after flood search
The body of Sip Terpstra, Hospers jeweler, who with his seven year old son was a flood victim near the million dollar corner, was found Friday by Hospers searchers. The body lay about two hundred feet from the boy's remains and was taken to the undertaker. Fumeral services were held Saturday at the Reformed church in Hospers.

Mrs. De Valois Auctions Big Seasonal Sale
The first auction sale of the season held by Mrs. Anna M. De Valois drew a large crowd with brisk bidding. Total receipts reached 7165.
