Auto Collision Injures Nick Block on Hospers Road
A Monday morning crash at the Langen horst Vanderberg corner near Hospers left Nick Block severely injured and unconscious at the scene. John Kersten in an oncoming auto collided with the Block wagon as weeds and a sharp road turn blocked visibility. Block shows slow improvement but remained in danger briefly.

B and I Club Hosts Weiner Roast Farewell Gift
The B and I Club held a weiner roast on the Sarset lawn last Thursday evening to honor Mrs. Karl Megdelson and Mrs. C. I. Sarset who are leaving soon. About 10 members and their families attended, with a large bonfire and roasted wieners followed by a supper. Each departing member received an aluminum kettle as a keepsake.
