New Orgatron Organ and Chimes Dedicated at St John Lutherans
St John Lutheran Congregation dedicated its new two manual Orgatron organ and Deagan chimes on October 4. Pastor Wm Striepe led the morning service with Rev F H Voelker of Craig Ill as guest speaker and Prof E G Helst of Wartburg College presiding at the evening recital. The organ, built by Everett Orgatron Co and installed by Hospe Co, features 33 stops, 32 note pedal clavier and echo organ, valued with the chimes at 2800 dollars in memory of Pastor Baetke.
