Town Council Proceedings and Local Notices 1949
April 4 1949 council meeting presided by Mayor Bell appointed Dr Balkema of Sheldon Iowa as health officer and health physician. May 2 1949 actions included sewer hookup approval to Henry Bosman for 12925 and sidewalk installation along Block One with lot-line clearance. Various bills approved for Water Works Sewer Disposal Light Fund Town Hall Fund Grading Fund and General expenses. Followed by community updates and visits involving residents and transport to Sioux City Sioux Falls and Denver with family notes and travel plans.
