Walter Ruyter of Boyden Iowa died March 19 1946 after a lingering illness in Cherokee cause septicemia He was born April 16 1888 in the Netherlands the son of Henry and family moved from New York to North Dakota then to Iowa He married Kathryn Woodsma on July 3 1918 and had children Henry Herman Jane Gertrude and Albert He is survived by relatives in the Netherlands and the United States Funeral services were held March 28 in Sheldon with several pastors and pallbearers from Boyden Interment was in Boyden cemetery.
