Dr. A J Steffy of the State Department of Public Instruction will address a joint meeting of the school masters club and school board members on April 1 in Sioux County. He will discuss budget requirements.
Mr and Mrs Russell Null and their baby from Remsen were weekend guests at the Howard Verrips home.
County Farm Bureau invites all members and spouses to a meeting on Friday March 27 at 8 00 PM at Town Hall Orange City. Morel Stientjes formerly manager of the Hull Co op Association has purchased the Nymeyer and Son hardware store in Hull. Possession will be given August first. He was a popular manager and well wishes are extended for his new location.
Mr H M Scholten Mrs J Kleinhesselink and Mrs Henry Kamminga celebrated a birthday at Moneta with friends and family attending.
Mr and Mrs Robert Dethmers and their daughter Judy were weekend visitors at the Jack Van Veldhuizen home in Sioux Falls detailing a family social stop and hospitality.

The annual bazaar will be held at the Reformed church Friday evening March 27. Reverend Dokter of Hospers will speak. Circle members have crafted a quilt at Walter Dickevers home to be sold at the bazaar.

Mr and Mrs Ed Diekevers observed their thirty four year wedding anniversary on a Wednesday March 28. Attending were Vernon Ingalls Lorne Sheldon Walter Diekevers Leola Eddie George Diekevers Adrian Diekevers Ike Struyk and son Bobby John Casemier Mary Ann Herwey nen and others. The children presented a thoughtful gift to the couple.
Town council met in regular session with Mayor McCrum presiding and all councilmen present. Appointed judges and clerks for the March 80 1942 election, reduced beer license to 100 dollars, reported water analyses, and appointed library trustees for four year terms. Cancelled hall rent for hunters oyster supper to support Salvation Army and Red Cross. Treasurer reported January February finances and listed paid bills. Adjourned after brief local social notes.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bloemendaal and sons of Alton. Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Rens, Glenda and Douglas of Orange City. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Rens. and Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Rozeboom and family of Sioux Center.
