Howard C. King, longtime editor of the Tugon County News at George Iowa, has sold his interests to EK H Neitzel and E Martinson. The deal closed last Tuesday and King built up the paper into a leading country weekly in the Northwest.
Geneva Work Wiley born October 28 1889 at Boyden died March 11 1920 in Illinois after a brief illness. She married Va Samual Wiley on June 24 1914 and leaves two children Pearl and Martha Lavone, with her mother Mrs C J Work and sisters Mrs Charles E Work Mrs Fred Warner and Mrs Victor Powers. Funeral held at United Presbyterian Church in Boyden with Dr W T McConnell. interment Boyden Cemetery. Out of town mourners included the Thayers and Warner and Powers families. The Sheldon High School basketball team defeated Boyden High 25 to 21 in a gym game Tuesday.
