Mitchell man returns with mare from stock sale
Joe Stientjes came home Thursday evening from Mitchell South Dakota on the stock train with a fine heavy draft mare bought at the local thoroughbred sale there. The mare warmed up yesterday and pulled snow well. The Board of Supervisors opened bids for the new jail but nothing definite emerged and they will try again. Fred Stehrenberg sold his house to Klass Winter this week, a well located property with a nice price not learned.
