Fifth Anniversary of Boyden Library Observed

The Boyden Library marks its fifth anniversary with a Friday June 9 open house and formal opening. Begun in 1934 by the Womans Club, the library moved to the Bolstad building in 1937 and was then given to the town.

Iowa Conference on Child Development and Parent Education

The thirteenth Iowa Conference on Child Development and Parent Education will convene in Iowa City on June 20 to 22, 1939. Sponsored by the Iowa State Council for Child Study and Parent Education with cooperation from the Iowa Child Welfare Research Station and university extension divisions. The theme is Youth in the World Today. No admission fee for sessions. On June 22 it joins the Fourth Annual Conference on Secondary Education.
