Why Not a Sales Pavilion for Boyden
The Boyden community urges a modern sales pavilion to unite breeders and buyers. The 1919 20 season saw hundreds of purebred cattle and hogs go to Sheldon due to lack of local facilities. A pavilion would boost town business and attract breeders, with examples like R Kamminga's Holstein sale near 23000 dollars illustrating potential gains. The notice also records executrix appointment for Jacob Van Houte and local property for sale. John Vos family quarantined due to influenza, with hopes for rapid recovery.
