Community notes mix politics, business and locals
The item list records Clyde Sharp visiting Sheldon on business, Miss Esklund visiting, John Mears named Alton postmaster, Senator Hubbard’s Congressional candidacy, and Henry de Groot’s town visit. It also notes Rockefeller gifts, local market concerns, medical visits, family events, school work, and plans for a telephone line extension to a local farm.
