Meyers Sale a Successful Dray Business Auction
The G Meyer auction at his residence drew strong bids last Saturday. Nearly all Dray business property owned by Meyer sold except the hearse. Total receipts were about 769.55 dollars. Col C Vin Zy1 of Hospers acted as auctioneer and Paul I McCrum as clerk. George Meyners sold a horse team for 226.00 dollars.

School notes and sports results from February events
State school inspector Mr B. W. Hoadley will visit Friday February 8 to give a lecture. Rev Van Lummel presides at the opening exercises next Friday morning. A basketball game against Hull last Wednesday evening ended 23 to 14 in favor of Boyden. Proceeds from the basket social after the game totaled 22 dollars and 25 cents.
