A vintage health ad offers a weight table from 4 ft 11 in at 122 lbs to 5 ft 10 in at 159 lbs and prescribes four weeks without pies and sugar. It promotes Kruschen Salts as a safe fat loss method with an 85 cent bottle lasting four weeks and claims improved vigor in four weeks.
Christmas Eve program at the First Reform Church features a 7 30 PM Sabbath School program with songs recitations dialogues and solos. Performers include Arnold Stegeman Dorothy Vanden Brink Warren DeVries Esther Van Klopenberg Thornton Jansma Arlene Kieinhesselink Gerrit Scholten and many others with accompaniment and multiple group segments.
Boyden High School boys basketball extended their winning streak by routing Little Rock boys 26 to 5. Seventh and eighth graders fell 8 to 6 to Little Rock’s second string after a tight game that went to a decision.
