The Ist will and testament of S G Vanden Brink late of Boyden Iown was filed for probate. January 14th at 10 is the time set for hearing on the will. The court directed jurors for 1957 and the January term. Thomas William Thomas of Sioux City pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and was fined 300 dollars and costs. A license to drive a car is not to be issued for 60 days. The estate of Johanna Kleinhesselink is closed and executors discharged. The estate of Nicholas Henrich paid 403 55 into the State Treasury for inheritance taxes. The estate of Alice M Patrick paid 680 34 into the taxes. Hearing tests of 990 children in Sioux County found 219 requiring hearing evaluation and 62 with significant losses referred to physicians or otologists. 38 others have impairment needing future rechecks.
