Falls to sleep on top of 80 foot smoke stack
Fred Frye of Sac City unintentionally slept atop an 80 foot high smoke stack at the Sac City canning factory while awaiting assistance for lightning rod work. A hammer dropped from his belt nearly struck a coworker, waking him. He finished the job after the nap. Also noted are a visit by Mrs. Dick De Velder and a trip by Miss Ella Stegemann to Sioux City.
