Straw Stack Fire Threatens Farm Buildings

The stack was fully consumed and nearby barns were at risk, with wind direction deciding the danger. Luverne's fire truck demonstrated booster pumps to spray water from a stock tank, and townsfolk watched as the blaze burned out with only one favorable chance to save the structures.
