Auto Crash Near Newkerk Injures Mrs DeJong
Mrs C P DeJon and her son Edwin escaped serious harm after a collision two miles west of Newkerk as a DeVries car from Boxden, carrying an 11 year old boy and another child, struck their Ford. Mrs DeJong suffered a badly bruised shoulder and profuse mouth bleeding. both other occupants fled unhurt. Another note reports George Morris's horse sickness and death, marking a second loss this summer.

Farm accident cuts index finger at corn shelter
