The Sheridan Township Farm Bureau calls a meeting on Wednesday evening August 18 in the room above the Farmers Co operative Lumber office. All men and women with articles or products for the booth exhibit are urged to bring them for final preparations. Girl Killed in Auto Accident Near Rock Rapids
Miss Alma Rohlff of Rock Rapids died from injuries after a Dodge touring car driven by Miss Delia Haan lost control near a church eight miles east of Rock Rapids. Delia Haan suffered a broken arm and other injuries while Myra, Luella, and Hazel were unharmed. The accident occurred while returning from Sheldon with a following convoy. Rohlff died that evening. funeral for Rohlff set for Wednesday at 2 PM at North Lutheran Church, Riverview cemetery interment.

Sioux County Fair Scheduled With Fireworks and Band
The Sioux County Fair runs August 23 to 26 with daily fireworks August 24 to 26. The Hawarden Band provides music, a special program is printed, and Time and Ward present a unique cycling act called Limit on Wheels.
