Frank Connell of Iowa Falls was bitten while protecting school children from a dog foaming at the mouth and acting queerly. The dog was killed and taken to Iowa State College to test for madness. Connell will testify that even if not mad the dog did not seem pleased.
Mr and Mrs Carl Christen of Graettinger traveled to Mc Cook Nebraska to be with their son Dean after his car broke down at midnight during the cold spell. He suffered frozen feet but was located by plane the next morning after starting a cross country trek.
