L. Schaap Elected Mayor of Boyden in Close Vote

In Boyden the town election produced 208 votes, a record turnout. L. Schaap was re elected mayor by 105 to 97 over Wargowsky. Council members chosen were Bergman Dykstra Van Giessen Moret and Rens, with three spoilt ballots. Voters queued late as autos ferried attendees to the hall.

Citizenship Club Program April 4 Meeting

The Citizenship Club outlines its April 4 program at the town hall with a roll call on sayings of Theodore Roosevelt and topics on United States attitude toward possessions. Talks include Guam and the Constitution by Mrs. Muilwyk Hawaii by Mrs. McCrum Porto Rico and Philippines by Mrs. Miller Sacco and Mrs. Green Attitude toward Mexico by Mrs. Stutzman. All women of the community are invited to attend.
