Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 30 PM in the First Reformed Church for Peter Voss 60 who died Friday morning after suffering with a malignant tumor The Rev Henri Steunenberg conducted the services Burial was in Newkirk cemetery He is survived by his wife a daughter Mrs Anne Roos of Hospers and two granddaughters plus other relatives and friends.
The C. E. of the First Reformed church sponsors a Hymn Sing Sunday evening April 4 at 7 45 P M in the church. Mrs Henri Steunenberg directs with Phyllis Steunenberg on organ and Rev Henri Steunenberg on piano. The public is welcome to attend.

The 26th annual convention of the Federated Women's Clubs of Sioux County will be held Tuesday April 6 at the Methodist Church in Ireton. All club members and interested women are urged to attend to learn about projects aiding communities. Women from Boyden may join by contacting a club member before 6:00 PM April 2 to reserve luncheon places.

They urge combining schools under 50 pupils and challenge proponents of small schools, outlining cost and curriculum differences.
