Homemaking Class 1 held a get acquainted party at the school house last Thursday afternoon from 4 to 7. Fourteen members attended with Rita Rossman as chaperon. Afterward Phyllis Lans accompanied Ruth Martin home as an overnight guest, and Joanné Janes stayed with Beulah Vanner. Vernon Humboldt Township Home Project groups met Tuesday at Elwood Rummens for an all day session with a noon covered dish. Groves of Ames gave a lesson on landscaping. KY N Club to visit Fortnightly Club at Mrs. S. H. Klassie's home. Literary Guild hosted by Mrs. Wilbur Nissen. Marion Hoveland led the lesson. refreshments served. Dinner guests at George Mills home included Frank Berry, Linda MIS, Donna Josh Stole of Clarion. Dr. and Mrs. F. M. Crawford hosted Shirley, Lew Warren, and Fritz Britt for a Des Moines visit. Chester Ogan honored at Rose Hefty birthday dinner with family present. Postnuptial shower for Mrs. Ken ny Luchsinger included a mock wedding and corsage.
