The regular meeting of the Town Council was held September 3 1944 with Mayor Hart D. Gimer and most councilmen present. Bills were read and approved for various supplies, services, and salaries. The Library Board report was approved, the Light and Power Plant salary raised to 215 dollars, Walter H. Attig appointed Town Marshal at 30 dollars per month, and the council adjourned.
