Mrs Helen William and guests hosted a semiscellan eous shower at the Harlan Jotten home for Dorlagen Kraft. Red and white were the chosen colors with gifts in a white basket featuring a garden sprinkler. Tea was served on a lace cloth centered by a sprinkler. The lunch featured red and white napkins and assorted treats. Guests enjoyed a scrap book activity and games all evening.

Town of Renwick votes to rescind Ordinance No 100 passed April 30 1928 superseded by 1952 measure. Northwestern Bell Telephone Company accepts the change and the town moves to void the old franchise. Also a stipulation extends a lease on Front Street by five year terms through 196B and authorizes the mayor and clerk to sign.
