Methodist Youth Fellowship Plan Meeting and Picnic
The Methodist Youth Fellowship will meet at the church at six o clock with an 8 o clock start for a prayer service. Officers for the year include President Clair Swan and Vice President Tom Rogeberry with Secretary Swan and Treasurer Shirley Hagland. Counselors are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Martin. A picnic at Smith is planned for Tuesday evening.

Mr and Mrs D E Rawleigh of Des Moines and Mr and Mrs Vern Rawleigh of Fairfield visited Sunday at the Clarence Hefty home. Mrs Rose Hefty visited Saturday at Ed Zweifel’s Titanics and dined with Fred Kluss at Fenton. Mrs Leo Mimbach spent time with relatives at Sexton last week. Mr and Mrs Arthur Lautfacher returned home after a week in Monroe Wisconsin. Mr and Mrs Clark Heiple and two children spent the weekend at Leo Mimbach’s home. The Heiples moved to Cedar Falls to teach at Own State Teachers College. Joyce Bygness of Goldfield was overnight guest with her grandparents. Weekend guests at the Donsvon Bygness home were Laverne Valen and family from Estherville. Dewitt Mimbach and son of Richards visited Leo Mimbach Sunday. Henry Bram and family stayed at the Fred Bram home in Klemme while attending the State Fair. Mrs David Ripley and daughter of Parry spent Labor Day weekend with the Bram household. Mrs Henry Bram and family plus Ralph White and Roxie went to Hardy to help Chas Adams celebrate her birthday.
