Pickard Family Reunion and Local Society Notes
The Pickard family reunion was held Sunday with thirty eight in attendance. Mrs. Guy Ballard was elected president and Mrs. Darrell Matteson secretary for the coming year. Birthday dinner honors Mrs. Emer Prilipp at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stevenson featured several local attendees. Fortnightly Teachers Party planned at George Larch home with Mrs. Larch and Mrs. Ble McGowan as hostesses and Lane and Christenson on program committee. Faculty picnic at C. M. Gillespie farm included a birthday cake for Supr. Wittmer. gifts presented to Mr. Wittmer. Choir party hosted by Methodist Church choir committee followed by practice. Engstrom Reunion at Robert Heide home Sendsy drew 72 attendees with guests from Rochester and other towns.

A large gathering of Engstrom relatives and friends from Minnesota and nearby towns attended an afternoon event. The roster includes Iverson Shank Johnson Blesie Kampert Engstrom Enge Erikson Laird and others. Youth Fellowship at Evangelical United Brethren church met Sunday with 15 present and featured a duet by Donna Hefty and Bob Hefty with JoAnna Krause on piano.
