The couple will reside in St Louis Park where the groom teaches and coaches at Minnetonka. both are St Olaf College graduates.

Harald Klasse won first in light weight division over Ton Lerdal who took second. Roger Thompson led the 6 to 10 thousand pound class with LeRoy Thompson second and Gary Bagler third. Don Kraft won first in the 8 to 10 thousand pound class with Gary Basler second and Carroll Helmke third. Watermelon Day drew over 4,000 pounds served by the Commercial club and concluded with a fine time.

St Paul Lutheran Church marks 75th anniversary
In Sibley Iowa St Paul Lutheran Church celebrated its 75th anniversary with about 285 attendees at the morning service led by Pastor J I Reents. The day included greetings from several area pastors a joint pot luck dinner a devotional and a main address by Pastor Rout Langhalz former St Paul minister Arnold Block presided and Rev Langhalz spoke on the history and mission of the church. A coffee hour closed the observance.
