BTW Club members hosted their annual guest day last Thursday at Mrs Ray Mond's home. Assistant hostesses Mesdames Wim Nissen Win Heliske and Art Streeter served a luncheon. A program followed with the group singing America the Beautiful and Jungle Ahead by Mrs Kenneth Albough of Eagle Grove. Installation of the Belles of Boone 4-H girls’ officer was planned.

The W S C S will be entertained at church parlors on Wednesday October 22 with Mrs Altai Lane and Mrs Harriet Lane as hostesses. Mrs Lillian Brophy leads devotions and Mrs Violet Saxton gives the lesson. A special offering for the Week of Prayer and Self Denial will be taken. The T Four U club met at Mrs Leah Brophy's home with eleven members and one guest. A CARE package for Korea was decided to be sent at Christmas. Mrs Bernice Wergeland and Mrs Esther Ann Gerson led the current events.
